TOIL OREGON

Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA

Chris Figgins, the President and Winemaking Director for Figgins Family Estates in Walla Walla is the son of Gary Figgins, the well-known winemaker who founded Leonetti Cellars, one of Washington's cult wines. Chris has his own wine brand, Figgins, and his latest enterprise as part of the Figgins Family Wine Estates Portfolio is Toil Oregon, a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. He may be the first eastern Washington winemaker to produce a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The wines have already garnered cult status, are only sold through a mailing list and never before exported. The inaugural wine from the 2012 vintage was sourced from Ribbon Ridge (Ridgecrest Vineyard) and Eola-Amity Hills (Schindler Vineyard) AVAs.
